We will be teaching the basics of how to act on camera, from learning eye lines and standing on your mark to memorization of script, connecting with your reader or scene partner, and how to perform within the frame of the camera.

*WE WILL BE HOSTING A SPECIAL PREMIERE PERFORMANCE ON SATURDAY FOLLOWING THE WEEK FOR PARENTS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO ATTEND (9AM to 12PM)
Course Goals:
Understand On-Camera Techniques: Learn about framing, eye lines, camera awareness, and adjusting performance for the lens.
Develop Naturalistic Performances: Focus on subtle expressions, authentic reactions, and believable character portrayal.
Master Scene Work for Film: Practice various scene types (monologues, dialogues, emotional scenes) and learn to deliver compelling performances in close-ups and wider shots.
Build Confidence and Technical Skills: Become comfortable working with cameras, microphones, and basic editing concepts.
Understand the differences between stage and film acting.
